Thin Salted Matzo: Not for Pizza

So just as I suspected the Thin Salted Matzo is not ideal for pizza. It’s mushy and does not hold up well under toppings. Also, I didn’t exactly love the extra salt especially with the mozz cheese. I highly recommend using regular unsalted matzo or if you feel like being healthy, the whole wheat matzo, REALLY turns out a crunchier pizza crust.

Matzo is a great food to experiment with. Every year my family and I tackle the challenge of finding foods to fill the void during passover. I like Matzo nachos and quesadilla, but matza pizza never turns out perfectly right. I’ll have to try out your recipe. This year i want to try to represent different ethnic foods in matza. Replace chips and salsa with matzo and salsa. Matza Marinara? Sound Magnifique! Sounds yummy right now.
Can’t wait for passover and cool post and recipe!!
